  2. IMPORTANT NOTE:

  4. Before starting Getty, the contents of the System/  directory  has  to  be
  5. copied to the corresponding system directories!
  6.  
  7. If you want to use the nullmodem.device to simulate two modems,  you  also
  8. have to copy the contents of the Devs directory to your system directory.
  9.  
  10. After that, the FIFO handler has to be started, by simply typing
  11.  
  12.     SHELL> run l:fifo-handler
  13.  
  14.  
  15. Now Getty can be started
  16.  
  17.     SHELL> [run] getty init
  18.  
  19.  
  20. You can also use the GUI to see what's going on by typing
  21.  
  22.     SHELL> [run} tools/term
  23.  
  24.     and selecting 'Interface' from the 'Getty' menu.
